There was a time when i would always go home for thanksgiving. This year will be my first year of hosting my own thanksgiving party. I have kind of far away from my parents, so i can’t make it home this season. I will try to make it for Christmas, but i can’t for turkey day. I miss my mom’s food but i will have to make due. We decided to host our own thanksgiving day party this year. We invited other friends who can’t make it home this year. I have to figure out how to cook the turkey and get the gravy just right. I need to make stuffing and other goodies. I have always pictured myself around the table with the carving knife in my hand. This year will be the first year that my house will become a home.
