There is a lot of money to be made in this niche. The big money sites all have one thing in common. They are all general info related web sites. Political and celebrity gossip web sites get a lot of web hits. That is why these types of web sites make the most money. It is probably too hard for a beginner to get started in these niches. But, if you apply yourself, you can start up your own general topic sites. You just need to write up a lot of specific blog posts. You need to get a lot of long string keyword links.
